R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County desires to enter a contract to furnish and install perimeter fencing for Lake County Public Works; and
WHEREAS, the County has competitively sourced a vendor to provide these services through a public bid process; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for by publication to furnish and install perimeter fencing for Lake County Public Works; and
WHEREAS, invitations for bids were extended to 26 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from five vendors and opened in Waukegan, Illinois on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with American Fence Professionals, Elk Grove Village, Illinois to furnish and install perimeter fencing for Lake County Public Works in the amount of $34,185.
