R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County PASSAGE is a cooperative initiative of IDOT and Lake County to implement the federal initiative for the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) in Lake County; and
WHEREAS, Lake County and the State of Illinois believe it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if the Lake County Division of Transportation utilized HERE Proprietary Attribute Data to update the Lake County PASSAGE System; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement to utilize HERE Proprietary Attribute Data to update the Lake County PASSAGE System, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized, and they are directed to execute on behalf of Lake County, an agreement, and any subsequent amendments thereto, pertaining to the HERE Proprietary Attribute Data license.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer shall transmit, in writing, the final agreement and any amendments to be executed by the County Board Chair and the County Clerk.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this agreement, when executed in its final form, be submitted to IDOT for their approval and final processing.
