• Annually, the County develops a list of legislative priorities that are submitted to legislators representing Lake County.
• The County’s 2020 Legislative Agenda includes items to support or sponsor that positively impact Lake County or its residents.
• All items have been submitted by department heads or elected officials to the Legislative Committee for discussion and inclusion.
• The Legislative Agenda also identifies bills and issues of interest to the County for support, opposition, or monitoring.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County annually develops a list of legislative priorities for submission to legislators representing Lake County; and
WHEREAS, the County’s 2020 Legislative Agenda includes items to support or sponsor that have a positive impact on Lake County or its residents; and
WHEREAS, all agenda items have been submitted to the Legislative Committee by department heads or elected officials for discussion and inclusion; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Agenda identifies bills and issues of interest to Lake County for support, opposition, or monitoring.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the Fiscal Year 2020 Legislative Agenda be approved.
