Continuation and Expansion of the Provider Incentive Plan - Dr. Zun

The provider incentive plan began in June 2019 for primary care providers (PCP). The preliminary analysis of the effects of this plan has demonstrated an increase in productivity and improvement of KPIs. The cost of this plan is offset by increased revenue and KPI payments. Because of the success of this program for the PCPs, we would like to expand it to other services provided at the FQHCs. Those services include dental, women’s health and psychiatry. Appropriate measures of productivity and KPIs for each service have been identified. We are therefore recommending continuation and expansion of the provider incentive plan for fiscal year 2020. Adjustments upward of the productivity and KPIs may be made as needed every six months.
