• Lake County’s Enterprise Technology (ET) has identified the need for consulting services to architect the data center consolidation and applications migration to secure cloud platforms.
• Pursuant to Article 10-101 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Purchasing, Lake County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants.
• Purchasing identified a cooperative purchasing contract (2018011-02) with SHI, through Omnia Partners, to procure needed services that was competitively solicited and awarded.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County’s ET has identified the need for consulting services to assess the strategy for the data center consolidation and applications migration to secure multi-cloud platforms; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Article 10-101 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Purchasing, Lake County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants; and
WHEREAS, Purchasing identified a cooperative purchasing contract (2018011-02) with SHI, through Omnia Partners, to procure needed services that was competitively solicited and awarded; and
WHEREAS, the cost of these services is $156,050.72.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with SHI for consulting services for Fiscal Year 2019, in the amount of $156,050.72 to be charged to 101-1300010-71150.
