R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County desires to enter into a contract for the removal of asbestos-containing material at the Lake County Administrative Tower Basement Training Room and Print Shop; and
WHEREAS, the County has competitively sourced a vendor to provide these services through a public bid process; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for by publication for Lake County Administrative Tower Basement Training Room and Print Shop ACM Removal; and
WHEREAS, invitations for bids were extended to 22 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from five vendors and opened in Waukegan, Illinois on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Valor Technologies, Inc., Bolingbrook, Illinois, for ACM removal at the Lake County Administrative Tower Basement Training Room and Print Shop in the amount of $105,900.
