Approval of Change in Operating Hours at School-Based Health Center - Dr. Zun

LCHD is requesting a change in the operating hours of the School-Based Health Center. The proposal is for the elimination of Friday hours. The School-Based Health Center has a new provider who, as part of their agreement, is scheduled to work Monday-Thursday only. Additionally, based on feedback from staff and an analysis of daily encounters, it was determined that Friday was the least busy day at the site and that the number of encounters that occurred on Friday could be incorporated into the other days of the week. LCHD has discussed this change with the school administration at the site and they are in agreement with the proposed change.

As required by Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) guidelines, changes to health center hours must be approved by the Governing Council. LCHD is requesting approval to make the change highlighted above and, if approved, make effective October 14, 2019.
