Provider Collaboration
• Drs. Alvaro Encinas and Shami Goyal started as Regional Medical Directors. Dr. Goyal is based at North Chicago and Dr. Encinas at Midlakes.
• Shannon Trocki, Advanced Practice Nurse, began at the School Based Health Center.
• Dimitry Petion accepted the position of Director of Physical Health and is scheduled to start in October.
• The interviewing process continues for an Advanced Practice Nurse for the Zion Health Center.
• Jessica Barrera, Advanced Practice Nurse, accepted the position at our STI Clinic and is scheduled to start mid-November.
Clinic Operations
• The Coleman Associates held their “Dramatic Performance Improvement” all day training session on September 26.
• Colleen Santos moved to Training so we are searching for a new Practice Manager for our Midlakes Health Center and School Based Health Center.
External Relations
• The pharmacy resident from Rosalind Franklin University is scheduled to start on September 30 and will be working one day a month at Belvidere Health Center and one day a month at Grand Avenue Health Center.
• Physician Assistant students from Rosalind Franklin University start their clerkship in Women’s Health in September.
