RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for armored car services for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, an Invitation to Bid was extended to seven vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from two vendors; and opened in the Lake County Purchasing Department, Waukegan, Illinois on August 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Invitation to Bid, staff evaluated the bids and determined that Brink’s US, a Division of Brink’s Incorporated of Coppell, Texas, is the lowest responsive and reasonable bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Brink’s US, a Division of Brink’s Incorporated of Coppell, Texas, for the purchase of armored car services in the estimated annual amount of $63,440, charged to various Lake County accounts.
