R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Midlothian Road, Gilmer Road, Old McHenry Road, Monaville Road and Wadsworth Road are designated routes on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to replace six culverts and one storm sewer on Midlothian Road, Gilmer Road, Old McHenry Road, Monaville Road and Wadsworth Road; and
WHEREAS, SUE and surveying services are required for the completion of these replacements; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable that a consultant engineering/surveying firm be employed to provide these SUE and surveying services; and
WHEREAS, Lake County selects professional engineering firms in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.; and
WHEREAS, Lake County Division of Transportation has a satisfactory relationship with Surveying and Mapping, LLC, Elk Grove Village, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, Surveying and Mapping, LLC, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, has completed the SUE and surveying services required in three separate projects; and

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the three contracts with Surveying and Mapping, LLC, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, in the amounts of $22,000, $17,865 and $17,700 for Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services and surveying services required for six culvert replacements and one storm sewer replacement on Midlothian Road, Gilmer Road, Old McHenry Road, Monaville Road and Wadsworth Road are ratified, draft copies of said contracts are attached hereto.
