Staff Summary

•                     In June 2019, a presentation was provided to the Committee reviewing the County’s current Ethics Ordinance and procedures, and a comparison of other local County governments was provided.

•                     Following the presentation, a number of suggestions were provided by the Committee to include in the County’s Ethics Ordinance.

•                     An amended Ethics Ordinance was presented at the September 11, 2019 committee meeting where the proposed changes were discussed.

•                     Staff has completed additional research and revised the ordinance per the committee’s direction at its September 11, 2019 meeting.
