Resolution providing for the establishment of a Special Committee for the County Administrator Recruitment process, and appointments to said committee.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Chair of the County Board, in conjunction with the Human Resources Department, is conducting a nationwide search to fill the position of County Administrator; and
WHEREAS, postings in local and national media outlets are being used to advertise the position to the widest possible audience; and
WHEREAS, the Chair has determined that a Special Committee should be established to participate in the recruitment process; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section XVI of the County Board Rules of Order and Operational Procedures, appointments to the Special Committee shall be recommended by the County Board Chair with the approval of a majority of the Board Members present; and
WHEREAS, Chair Hart hereby recommends that a Special Committee for the recruitment of a new County Administrator be established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County board of Lake County, Illinois, that a Special Committee for the recruitment of a new County Administrator is hereby established with the following members:
Sandy Hart, County Board Chair
Mary Ross Cunningham, County Board Vice-Chair
Ann Maine, County Board Member
Mike Rummel, County Board Member
Julie Simpson, County Board Member
Adam Didech, County Board Member
Terry Wilke, County Board Member
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Special Committee shall assist the Chair of the Board during the recruitment process and will cease to function upon the adoption of a resolution appointing a new County Administrator.
