Staff Summary

•                     Christine Kopka is currently appointed as the Lake County’s Nationwide Authorized Agent and will remain until the termination of the Nationwide contract. 

•                     Human Resources desires that Christine Kopka, Assistant Director of Human Resources and Risk Manager, be appointed as Lake County’s authorized agent for its deferred compensation plan under Internal Revenue Code 457(b) for services with ICMA-RC.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Lake County offers a Supplemental Deferred Compensation 457(b) plan; and

WHEREAS, Human Resources desires to have Christine Kopka appointed and be granted authority to administer the Lake County Supplemental Deferred Compensation Plan; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this the County Board of Lake County, that the appointment of Christine Kopka, Assistant Director of Human Resources and Risk Manager, as Lake County’s Deferred Compensation Plan’s Authorized Agent, is hereby approved.
