Presentation and discussion on the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program.
Staff Summary
• During its February meeting, the Committee discussed their workplan which provides milestones and estimated dates for discussion related to each area.
• At this meeting, certain items were submitted for discussion and consideration for adoption into the Committee work plan, including Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program.
• Staff has conducted research on the PACE Program, discussed implementation with collar counties who have established the program, and have held meetings with leadership of county departments impacted by a potential implementation within Lake County.
• The Sustainability Team will provide a preliminary overview of the PACE program with options for next steps related to establishing the program to make it available for commercial properties in Lake County.
