RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Illinois DCEO has provided a WIOA Local Incentive grant in the total of $29,241 to the Lake County Workforce Development Department; and
WHEREAS, this grant is received because Workforce Development met the established performance accountability measures ending June 2018; and
WHEREAS, this grant is for the period through June 30, 2020, to deliver workforce development activities; and
WHEREAS, an emergency appropriation of $29,241 is requested to allocate these funds into the Workforce Department’s county fiscal year 2019 budget and authorize acceptance of this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $29,241 for the Workforce Development Department is hereby approved and that the WIOA Local Incentive Bonus grant be accepted.
