• Lake County is a municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) community that is required to comply with the IEPA General NPDES ILR40 Permit that became effective on March 1, 2016.
• Permit requirements include new program enhancements, implementation of Best Management Practices, and water quality monitoring activities that will require the use of engineering and miscellaneous services, contract services, and materials, and is designated as Section 19-00000-19-GM.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, operates a municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) and is required to comply with the reissued IEPA permit for the discharge of storm water; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, needs to acquire engineering and miscellaneous services and materials to implement program enhancements, Best Management Practices, and water quality monitoring; and
WHEREAS, in order to acquire necessary engineering and miscellaneous services and materials, an appropriation of funds is required.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $75,000 of County Bridge Tax funds for FY2019 engineering and miscellaneous services and materials needed to meet the requirements of the IEPA General NPDES ILR40 Permit for Lake County, and designated as Section 19-00000-19-GM.
