R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the resurfacing of the LCDOT parking lot; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication calling for said bid, sealed bids were received and opened on July 16, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works, Planning and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Peter Baker and Son Company, Lake Bluff, Illinois, their bid being $727,019.55 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, the funding for this project is included in the County's Corporate Capital Improvement Program.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that a contract be awarded to said Peter Baker and Son Company, Lake Bluff, Illinois, in accordance with their bid...
