Illinois Department of Public Health - Immunization Elimination of Disparities - $60,000 - Kritz

The Illinois Department of Public Health has awarded the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) a grant in the amount of $60,000 for the period May 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020. These funds will be used to support in-reach and outreach efforts promoting immunization and addressing health determinant disparities that exist with immunization status in Lake County. Appropriation is unbalanced as the majority of grant dollars will be used to offset existing salary and fringe benefit dollars.
Suggested Motion
To approve the funding of $60,000 from the Illinois Department of Public Health to support the Immunization Elimination of Disparities program.
