The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) has a need to enter into an agreement with a contractor for HVAC preventive maintenance and repair services for fourteen LCHD/CHC sites.
A legal notice was published in the Lake County News Sun on May 23, 2019, and the Request for Proposals (RFP) was posted to the Lake County Purchasing website.
Sealed proposals were received from three contractors on June 13, 2019. The evaluation committee reviewed the RFP submittals and found that one contractor possessed the experience and capabilities to best perform the requirements and specifications outlined in the RFP. This contractor will also best serve the agency’s financial interests and is requesting the authorization to complete an agreement with McDonough Mechanical Services of Waukegan, Illinois.
Suggested Motion
To approve the award of a contract to McDonough Mechanical Services of Waukegan, Illinois, in the estimated annual amount of $88,700 for HVAC preventive maintenance and repair services and to authorize the Executive Director or his designee to execute the necessary documents.
