Staff Summary

                     General consultant tasks:

                     Requirements assessment.

                     Draft the RFP for a system(s) vendor.

                     Support Consortium selection of the system vendor (option for the Consortium).

                     Support Consortium contract negotiation (option for the Consortium).

                     Provided project management functions during system implementation (option for partners).

                     RFP for a consultant will be funded by 9-1-1 Consortium funds. Additional funds may be made available to the Consortium to support this RFP for a consultant.

                     The Operations Committee unanimously recommended approval.
