Provider Collaboration
* A full-time Family Medicine physician, Dr. Cynthia Floore, has been added at our Zion Health Center. She started on July 8, 2019.
* A flex Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Susan Felsenthal, will primarily cover our Addictions Treatment Program/Medication Assisted Treatment (ATP/MAT) and Women's Residential Services (WRS) program with the potential to fill in at other LCHD/CHC sites. She started on June 24, 2019.
* A full-time Family Medicine physician, Dr. Ayesha Ali, will float to various sites as needed to cover open positions, vacations, etc. She is scheduled to start on July 22, 2019.
* A current LCHD/CHC flex provider, Dr. Josephine Dinkha, will transition to a full-time provider position in mid-August. She will take over hours vacated by Dr. Arigovindan, who resigned, at our North Chicago Health Center and continue covering the Medical Management Clinic (MMC) at the Belvidere Medical Building (BMB) one day a week.
* We have an opening for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician at our Midlakes Health Center.
* We are arranging for a replacement provider at the School Based Health Center in Round Lake as the current provider is cutting her hours to part-time effective July 6, 2019.
* We are in the process of credentialing a full-time Psychiatrist for our Libertyville Health Center.

Clinic Operations
* The Health Literacy committee made a number of recommendations to improve the health literacy assessment. Rather than using a lengthy and difficult to administer tool, the committee recommended a one question assessment recommended by the Joint Commission. If the assessment tool determines that the patient has low health literacy, we plan to revise our processes to better address patients' health literacy needs.
