Provider Collaboration
• The incentive plan rolled out on June 1, 2019, as a pilot for medical doctors and advanced practice nurse providers to incentivize productivity and quality. A Town Hall meeting with providers was held on May 13, 2019 to present this information.
• The revised peer review process for all licensed providers awaits approval.
• Contract negotiations with local OB/GYN providers continue.
Patient Focused
• The first Town Hall meeting for patients will be held at North Chicago Health Center on Thursday, June 27, 2019, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Clinic Operations
• Review and revise approach to health literacy.
• Three candidates for Director of Physical Health have been interviewed.
• The Coleman Associates conducted LCHD FQHC site visits on May 9 and May 10, 2019, and at the end of the day on May 10 shared their findings with the Executive Team. A follow-up conference call with the Executive Team was held on May 23.
External Relations
• The pharmacy school at Rosalind Franklin plans to share a pharmacy resident with LCHD one day a week.
• Discussions with the podiatry and physical therapy schools at Rosalind Franklin continue.
