The IDPH has provided the LCHD/CHC with $30,000 in additional funding for the IBCCP. Funds are for state fiscal year 2019 which runs from July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019. The additional funding is 100% clinical dollars which means that funds are used to cover the cost of mammograms for IBCCP participants. Prior to this amendment, the grant was budgeted at $576,293.16. With the amendment, the total grant funding increases to $606,293.16. The IBCCP program provides mammograms and cervical cancer screenings to uninsured women in Lake County. The additional funding was awarded based on LCHD fully expending its initial allotment of clinical funding.

To approve $30,000 in additional funding from the Illinois Department of Public Health to support the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.
