Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Oral Health Infrastructure (OHI) Grant Application - Pfister

HRSA has released an oral health services grant opportunity with a maximum award of $300,000. This is an opportunity to obtain one-time funding to support minor alteration/renovation work, equipment purchases, training/consultation, health information technology upgrades or other infrastructure investments specific to oral health services.
One of the roles of the Governing Council is to approve all grant applications within the FQHC. This agenda item is therefore submitted to request approval for LCHD/CHC to apply for funds through this opportunity. LCHD/CHC’s plan is to use grant funding to upgrade the dental area at the North Chicago Health Center including the creation of a new laboratory space (allowing for clean and dirty labs), renovated operatories, renovated intake area/team room and upgraded equipment.

To approve the application to the Health Resources and Services Administration for $300,000 for one-time capital improvements to the dental area at the North Chicago Health Center.
