Title
University of Chicago ECHO Program $5,000 - Zun
Body
The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) is a participant in the Extension for Community Health Outcomes (ECHO) program led by the University of Chicago. The ECHO program provides opportunities for providers to complete online modules on specific health topics (i.e. ADHD, childhood obesity, Hep C, etc.). If LCHD/CHC providers complete a required number of modules, LCHD/CHC receives a payment of $5,000. Funds are for state fiscal year 2019 which runs from July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019. There are no stipulations on how these grant dollars are to be used. LCHD/CHC is choosing to allocate them to cover the interface costs associated with connecting a new ultrasound machine to Nextgen.
Suggested Motion
To approve $5,000 in funding from the University of Chicago - ECHO program to be used to help fund the interface for connecting a new ultrasound machine to Nextgen.
