Des Plaines River Watershed Workgroup Lakes Project New Funding - Kritz

The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) received funds from the Des Plaines River Watershed Workgroup Lakes Project in the amount of $20,000. The project objective is to monitor the water quality of Lake Charles, Big Bear and Little Bear Lakes including selected inflows and outflows to determine loading rates of select nutrients (phosphorus and suspended sediments) and pollutants (chlorides). These funds will be used for supplies and will also cover budgeted salary dollars for staffing. The project period is May 1, 2019 through January 31, 2020.

To approve new funding in the amount of $20,000 from the Des Plaines River Watershed Workgroup.
