R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for a culvert replacement on Fairfield Road.
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on April 16, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works, Planning and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Copenhaver Construction, Gilberts, Illinois, their bid being $772,811 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that a contract be awarded to said Copenhaver Construction, Gilberts, Illinois, in accordance with their bid of $772,811, based on estimated quantities...
