• The Metropolitan Mayors Caucus’ Greenest Region Compact is a guiding document that will help the County prioritize its environmentally responsible actions, track its achievements, and state its commitment to a sustainable future.
• In April staff presented the Greenest Region Compact as an additional option to joining the County Climate Coalition. A draft resolution was presented for discussion.
• The resolution endorses the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus’ Greenest Region Compact and makes a commitment to support the consensus goals included within the Compact.
