Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA) HIV Prevention Program Grant - Kritz

The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) has received grant funding from IPHA for the HIV Prevention program. The grant period is July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. LCHD/CHC budgeted $165,000 in County FY19. Based on the SFY19 award amount, LCHD/CHC is requesting an additional appropriation of $34,310. Appropriated dollars will support advertising, vaccinations, medical supplies, operational supplies (including transportation support for peer volunteers) and office supplies. Overall, the grant supports HIV prevention activities including peer outreach, marketing, condom distribution, testing and linkage to care.
