R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication for the installation of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) PASSAGE Field Elements, along various routes in Lake County, and designated as Section 18-00268-17-TL; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on March 12, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois, a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

H and H Electric Company
Franklin Park, Illinois
$511,455.60
WHEREAS, the Public Works, Planning and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Home Towne Electric, Inc., Lake Villa, Illinois, their bid being $493,121.10 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
