In State FY2019, the IDPH combined seven existing grants into one bundled grant titled Comprehensive Health Protection. LCHD/CHC’s bundled grant contract for State FY2019 included a total increase in funding of $92,450 for the childhood lead, body art and pre-exposure prophylaxis programs. The grant period is July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019. Appropriation is unbalanced as grant funds will be used to offset salary and fringe expenses for existing staff.
Suggested Motion
To approve the increase in grant funding of $92,450 from the Illinois Department of Public Health to support the childhood lead, body art and pre-exposure prophylaxis programs within the Comprehensive Health Protection grant.
