Attached for review and approval is the summary of accomplishments for the 2018 Compliance Work Plan and the proposed 2019 Compliance Work Plan.
Also attached is the revision to the Compliance Program description document. This document provides the general outline for the components of the agency’s program and guides decision-making on the activities to be undertaken in support of a comprehensive annual plan.
The summary for the 2018 Compliance Work Plan briefly describes accomplishments and evidence of work to satisfy the identified gaps or areas for improvement.
The proposal for the 2019 Compliance Work Plan provides a general description of work to be done across a wide range of compliance-related topics. The proposed activities and outputs for the coming year address current and future needs for new or improved policies, procedures, and resources. The resulting changes to the plan promote compliance and support staff efforts across a range of responsibilities.
These documents have been reviewed with the Compliance/Privacy/Security Group comprised of staff subject matter experts and the Compliance Committee comprised of the Executive Team.
These documents will be provided annually for review and approval by the Board of Health to promote conversation and understanding regarding past accomplishments and future areas of development in the Compliance Program.
Suggested Motion
To accept the summary of accomplishments for the 2018 Compliance Work Plan, approve the proposed 2019 Compliance Work Plan, and approve the revision of the document describing the agency’s Compliance Program.
