Commission Action: Vote to Finalize 2019 Grant Funding Recommendations
Staff Summary
• Following a first public hearing on 2019 funding, the Housing & Community Development Commission (HCDC) will review current recommendations for the Lake County Affordable Housing Program (AHP), Video Gaming Revenue (VGR) and U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) grants.
• With approval by the full Commission of current funding recommendations from four Advisory & Recommendation Committees (ARCs), staff will finalize the 2019 Annual Action Plan for posting and public comment.
• Public comment will be accepted through March 15, 2019, with a second public hearing on 2019 funding recommendations to be held on Wednesday March 13 at the HCDC meeting before final HCDC vote. At that time, HCDC will consider advancing funding recommendations to the Lake County Board.
