Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Primary and Behavioral Health Care Integration (PBHCI) Grant - Pfister

The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) is in the third year of a PBHCI grant funded through SAMHSA. LCHD/CHC initially requested $369,257 for year three which runs from September 30, 2018 to September 29, 2019. In October, LCHD/CHC was notified that it had been awarded an additional $25,000 raising the total grant award to $394,257 for the budget period. The original amount was already included in the County 2019 budget, so this agenda item is to approve the $25,000 in supplemental funds. The additional $25,000 will be used for staff training and professional development.
