Prioritization of Committee Goals for Fiscal Years 2019-2020.
Staff Summary
• During its January meeting, the Committee discussed a number of areas it would like to focus its attention and efforts over the next two years. An unprioritized list of those areas will be reviewed and discussed so that the Committee can prioritize it.
• Since that time, the following items have also been submitted for discussion and consideration:
o Lake County Net Zero 2040 Initiative
o Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program
o Lake County’s participation in the County Climate Coalition the Global Compact of Mayors.
• Once the list has been prioritized, staff will work to develop a two-year Committee work plan which provides milestones and estimated dates for Committee discussion related to each area.
• The proposed two-year Committee work plan will be presented during the Committee’s March meeting for its consideration. Thereafter, the Committee work plan - which will be updated on a monthly basis - will serve as the work plan from which Committee issues and items will be managed.
