R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Hunt Club Road, County Highway 29, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, to ensure the free flow of traffic and the safety and welfare of the motoring public, Lake County is desirous of improving Hunt Club Road, at Illinois Route 132, by widening and resurfacing; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed; and
WHEREAS, this project will proceed to a letting and construction is planned to begin in 2019 pending final land acquisition; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $5,236,000 of 1/4% Sales Tax for Transportation funds and $225,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the intersection improvements along Hunt Club Road, at Illinois Route 132, which will be improved under the Illinois Highway Code for a total of 0.95 miles, and designated as Section 14-00095-17-CH.
