RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the ICJIA has announced the continuation of an 18-month grant in the amount of $225,000 in federal funds for the State's Attorney's Law Enforcement Response to Drugs - Drug Prosecution program to provide concentration on convictions of drug related cases and offenders; and
WHEREAS, the grant program will fund a portion of the salaries for one division chief, one assistant state's attorney and one investigator in the Gang/Narcotics Prosecutions Division; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to authorize the renewal as described herein.
