Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Coastal Management Program Grant - Kritz

The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) received a new grant in the amount of $15,000.01 from the IDNR for a Coastal Management Program. The grant period is July 1, 2018 - December 31, 2019. Appropriation is unbalanced as grant funds will be used to offset existing salary dollars for staff in the ecological services program. The grant will fund LCHD/CHC’s participation in a septic identification study within the Lake County portion of the Lake Michigan watershed.
Suggested Motion
To approve the new grant funding of $15.000.01 from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to support the Coastal Management Program project.
