ORDINANCE

 

WHEREAS, the Illinois Compiled Statues requires that the Director and Alternate Director of any joint action water agency must be appointed by Ordinance; and

 

WHEREAS, by the terms of an Ordinance approving the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency and the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency Agreement, it is necessary to appoint a Director and to appoint an Alternate Director to serve said Agency as representatives of Lake County; and

 

WHEREAS, there now exists a vacancy for Director of the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency; and

 

WHEREAS, your Chair requests that this County Board confirm the appointment of Jennifer Clark as a member of the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency for a term ending April 30, 2019.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that Jennifer Clark is hereby appointed to serve as Director of the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency for a term ending April 30, 2019, as set forth in the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency Agreement.
