R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Peterson Road, County Highway 20, is a designated route on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, Lake County has title to property near the Peterson Road and Behm Lane intersection in Fremont Township; and

WHEREAS, the County and the CLCJAWA are desirous of entering into separate agreements for a temporary easement and a permanent easement near the Peterson Road and Behm Lane intersection, draft copies of the agreements are attached hereto which include exhibits describing the properties involved; and

WHEREAS, the County will dedicate a temporary easement to the CLCJAWA, for ingress and egress purposes, to construct a water transmission pipeline; and

WHEREAS, the County will grant a permanent easement to the CLCJAWA, for the sum of $10, to construct and maintain the water transmission pipelines and related
attachments, equipment and appurtenant structures; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to the 765 ILCS 5/16, the County Board may authorize its County Board Chair to convey real estate belonging to it; and

WHEREAS, the Local Government Property Transfer Act, 50 ILCS 605/0.01 et seq., authorizes units of local government to agree to transfer land between said units of local government, and

WHEREAS, the County will require the CLCJAWA to request ...
