Body
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for Linen and Laundry Service for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, an Invitation to Bid was extended to seven vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from one vendor and opened at the Lake County Administration Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on November 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Invitation to Bid; the staff determined that the bid submitted by Superior Health Linens is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County,
Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Superior Health Linens, for Lake County for one-year agreement with four additional one-year renewals in the estimated annual amount of $42,722.37 charged to various accounts.
