Recommendation of the Fiscal Year 2019 Legislative Agenda.
Staff Summary
• In August 2017, the Lake County Board created the Ad Hoc Legislative Committee to guide the development of the County’s annual State and Federal Legislative Program.
• The Committee is responsible for reviewing a draft Legislative Agenda with the authority to amend it before (i) circulating to all Standing Committees for their respective input, and (ii) submitting it to the Financial and Administrative Committee for final recommendation to the County Board, in accordance with the County Board Rules of Order and Operational Procedure.
• The Committee has thoroughly vetted the proposed legislative initiatives, and is pleased to recommend the 2019 Lake County Legislative Agenda for final recommendation from the Financial and Administrative Committee to the County Board.
