Staff Summary

•                     In 2016 the County Board established the Ivanhoe Estates SSA.

•                     This SSA provides funds to maintain private roads in the Ivanhoe Estates residential community.

ORDINANCE

WHEREAS, Special Service Area Number 17 was established by the Lake County Board on September 13, 2016; and

WHEREAS, said Ordinance stated that a levy sufficient to pay the cost of private road maintenance for Special Service Area Number Seventeen, up to $480 per parcel, as designated in the special tax roll, shall be made each year thereafter.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there be and there is levied upon all of the taxable property in said Special Service Area Number 17, in addition to all other taxes, a direct tax of $56,640 for tax year 2018.
