Staff Summary
• The County and Lakes Region Sanitary District (LRSD) both provide wastewater and sanitary sewer related services to areas within the Northwest Lake Facilities Planning Area (FPA).
• The County and LRSD wish to expand the scope of shared services to include office staff support to further facilitate planned consolidation of services.
• The agreement allows County staff to provide services on a time and material basis and charge the LRSD for the services.
• This resolution authorizes the County Chair and County Clerk to execute the first amendment of the Intergovernmental Agreement.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County), and the Lakes Region Sanitary District (District), have previously entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement for Collaboration on Sewer related Operations and Services dated November 14, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Parties have agreed to extend the services to include office support and
WHEREAS, execution of this Extension Amendment must be authorized by Resolution of this County Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Chair of the County Board and the Clerk of said County be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached First Amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement for Collaboration on Sewer related Operations and Services by and among the County of Lake and the Lakes Region Sanitary District, in the form substantially herein.
