R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the guardrail installation on Gages Lake Road, from Gagewood Court to Hunt Club Road, and designated as Section 18-00091-06-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication calling for said bid, sealed bids were received and opened on August 14, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois, a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

Wadsworth, Illinois
$80,732.35
Copenhaver Construction, Inc.
Gilberts, Illinois
$111,471.02
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Campanella and Sons, Inc., Wadsworth, Illinois, their bid being $80,732.35 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that a contract be awarded to said Campanella and Sons, Inc., Wadsworth, Illinois, in accordance with their bid of $80,732.35, based on estimated quantities and unit prices, and that the Purchasing Agent, the Co...
