R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, there is a need to provide painting services for the County’s North East Central (NEC) pump station; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for by publication for 2018 Public Works Painting Project; and
WHEREAS, the awarded contractor shall be responsible for materials, labor, and quality workmanship in preparation and application of industrial coatings for each location; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from three vendors at the Lake County Administrative Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on July 26, 2018; and
WHEREAS, G.P. Maintenance Services, Inc., Palos Hills, Illinois, was determined to be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder that best meets the needs of the County in the amount of $43,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with G.P. Maintenance Services, Inc., Palos Hills, Illinois, for 2018 Public Works Painting Project in the amount of $43,000.
