R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board and the Benton Township Road District Highway Commissioner, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the resurfacing of Dodson Road, from Kenosha Road east to the end of the road in Benton Township Road District, which will be improved under the Illinois Highway Code for a total of 0.07 miles, and designated as Section 18-03101-01-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on June 19, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois, a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Peter Baker and Son Company, Lake Bluff, Illinois, their bid being $38,699.93, based on estimated quantities and unit prices.
