Joint resolution authorizing an agreement with Parsons Corporation, Schaumburg, Illinois, (Parsons Corporation) for design engineering services for traffic signal coordination and timing, traffic responsive implementation and coding updates to the Lake County Automated Traffic Signal Performance Measures program along various routes in Lake County, at a cost of $99,685.34, appropriating $120,000 of 1/4% Sales Tax for Transportation funds, and designated as Section 18-00999-53-TL.
Staff Summary
* The design engineering services will include traffic signal optimization studies along Cedar Lake Road and Washington Street, traffic responsive implementation along Deerfield Road and Saunders Road, and coding updates to the Lake County Automated Traffic Signal Performance Metrics program.
* Lake County has selected Parsons Corporation under the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, for these engineering services at a maximum cost of $99,685.34.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, it is advisable that a professional engineering services firm be employed for traffic signal coordination and timing along Cedar Lake Road and Washington Street, traffic responsive implementation along Deerfield Road and Saunders Road, and coding updates to the Lake County Automated Traffic Signal Performance Measures program; and
WHEREAS, Lake County has selected a professional engineering services firm, Parsons Corporation, Schaumburg, Illinois, in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, for said traffic signal coordination and timing modeling; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that Parsons Corporation, Schaumburg, Illinois, be employed to provide professional engineering services for the traffic signal coordination and timing, traffic responsive implementation and coding updates to the Lake County Automated Traffic Signal Performance Measures program al...
