* Lake County (County), which uses Tegile storage hardware to provide storage to all departments for enterprise applications, desires to purchase additional Tegile storage hardware since its current storage hardware is at capacity.
* The County Purchasing Division identified a cooperative purchasing contract with CDW, through the National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance to procure needed equipment that was competitively solicited and awarded.
* Pursuant to Article 10-101 of the County Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Purchasing, the County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants.
* The contract amount is $147,612, which includes an annual software fee of $28,800, dropping to $9,600 for the final two years.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Tegile storage hardware provides storage to all departments for enterprise applications; and
WHEREAS, Lake County desires to purchase additional Tegile storage hardware, as our current storage hardware is at capacity; and
WHEREAS, Purchasing identified a cooperative purchasing contract with CDW of Vernon Hills, Illinois through the National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance to procure needed equipment that was competitively solicited and awarded; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 10-101 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a cooperative purchasing contract with National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance has been identified for the purchase; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with CDW of Vernon Hill, Illinois, for Purchase of Tegile storage hardware in an amount of $147,612...
