RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, RFP responses were called for by publication for uniforms and accessories for the LCSO; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, an RFP was extended to 15 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received from two vendors and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on April 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the RFP, the Evaluation Committee comprised of representatives from Finance and Administrative Services and the LCSO, selected Galls, LLC, Lexington, Kentucky, as the most favorable proposal for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent be authorized to enter into the contract with Galls, LLC, Lexington, Kentucky, to procure uniforms and accessories for LCSO in the estimated annual amount of $260,000 out of account number 101-1102050-85040-000-000-000-11030.
